On the Readiness of the Listener

A linkedin post by a friend

Krishna says to Arjun:
“Not everyone deserves your explanation. Sometimes it’s okay to be silent. Let them assume that you are wrong.”

I think as we get experienced, this is a realized truth.
Without debating if krishna says that to arjuna because it doesnt map to any sholka of Bhagavad Gītā or other known text, it makes a lot of sense.

Also, I have tried making a sanskrit version of it as below and have asked one of my sanskrit teacher to verify for accuracy:

न सर्वे तव वाक्यार्थं ग्रहीतुं योग्याः पार्थ ।
मौनं कदाचित् श्रेयस्करं, भ्रान्तिं ते मन्यतां जनाः ॥

She responded that “last line me gadbad hai. Anvay nahi mil pa raha aur chhandobhang bhi hai. Matlab vritta me aksharon ki kami adhikta hai.“
